Rupert Theodore (Rufus) Naylor (1882-1939): Born 14 August 1882, Chippendale, Sydney.
Career: miner and bookmaker. Opened sports stadiums and cinemas.
Managed African Theatres Trust in London (1913-17).
Expanded gambling interests in Mozambique.
Elected to Johannesburg Municipal Council in 1919.
Returned to Sydney 1925.
Founded Racing Reflections and hosted 'Racing Revelations' on 2KY.
Died of heart disease on 25 September 1939.
