Henry Buchanan: Born 14 July, 1889, Gympie, Queensland.
Career: Miner before enlisting on 27 August 1914.
Served as a stretcher bearer in Gallipoli, wounded multiple times.
Promoted to Corporal in March 1916, then Sergeant in September 1916.
Awarded the Military Medal and Bar for actions at Mouquet Farm and Pozieres.
Re-enlisted in July 1918, discharged in December 1918 with multiple wounds.
Married Gwen Gilpin on 14 August 1920.
Later moved to Tewantin, served as RSL President.
Died on 11 May 1953.
